We're making tissue paper flowers in my after school art class today. I hope they're not too fiddley for the younger children. I got the idea from
http://www.lollychops.com/ where she gives a tutorial. I added some snipped then twisted green tissue to the centre which doubles as a stem. Then wired and florist taped the stem so it can be positioned easily.
Gave my two last polymer clay modelling classes this week for term three. As much as I love it, I'm looking forward to the school holidays! Above are a few things the children have been creating in clay class...

ReplyDeleteBeautiful, clear pictures and the paper project flower looks great. I don't think the children will find it too tricky as I think they will really just want to have a go at making the lovely looking flower. Looking forward to hearing how they go with this. Simone
