Embroidery hoop necklace

I bought the little 4cm hoop and added my tiny stitched bird using a hot glue gun. I'm keen to do some more, maybe using felt next time. This size is an ornamental hoop but the slightly larger 5.5cm one is an actual embroidery hoop....so cute and novel.

Beach Theme Cake Topper

The couple I created this topper for are getting married at Currumbin Beach on the Gold Coast in a few weeks.  The figurines have wire and foil armatures so are very strong and durable once they're cured in the oven.  They're made from polymer clay. Like to know more?..... http://www.clayartcaketoppers.com/

Paper Flower Table Decorations

These flowers are part of a custom order for a wedding in Sydney.  They'll decorate the tables at the reception.  I really enjoy making these.
I also make these up into garlands which are popular for weddings.
They're available at my Etsy shop "Inksky" www.etsy.com/shop/Inksky

Sweet Sixteen

Here's a caricature sculpture of my lovely daughter,  Adelaide.  I didn't get it finished in time for her 15th  (finished three days after).  It'll finally go on top of her 16th birthday cake this Sunday!  She was a good sport about having her caricature done....like most of my victims, she's much more beautiful in real life!  Happy birthday Adelaide!

A tissue paper flower

We're making tissue paper flowers in my after school art class today.  I hope they're not too fiddley for the younger children.  I got the idea from http://www.lollychops.com/ where she gives a tutorial.  I added some snipped then twisted green tissue to the centre which doubles as a stem.  Then wired and florist taped the stem so it can be positioned easily.
Gave my two last polymer clay modelling classes this week for term three.  As much as I love it, I'm looking forward to the school holidays!  Above are a few things the children have been creating in clay class...
